If you weren't able to make it to the Parents Information Meeting, please take a look at the presentation for important information.

Is your son interested in playing lacrosse?

This FREE Learn to play clinic is a great way for your son to checkout lacrosse. We know the cost of starting a new sport can be large, so we want to give your player a little taste of lacrosse to see if it's something they really want to play. We know once they get started, they're going to love it! You don't need any equipment to attend. We're only using lacrosse sticks and tennis balls for the new Learn to Play boys. We will bring lacrosse sticks that players can borrow for the clinic, but if you already have one or can borrow one from a friend, PLEASE bring it. We'd hate to run out of sticks.
Does your son already play lacrosse?

Come out in full gear and learn some more position specific skills from West HS coaches and former 2023 State Champion West Forsyth HS players. Some of the players now play at Mercer and the University of Alabama Huntsville. Come out and see Lucas Prinke, Will Zylstra and many more!

Welcome to Our Program

U11 team huddle

West Forsyth Boys Youth Lacrosse offers programs for K-8th grade boys that's focused on growing the game of lacrosse here in Forsyth County. Our goals are to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse through positive coaching and sportsmanship at all times. We aim to educate, equip and empower youth sports leaders, volunteers and parents so all children can enjoy the lifelong benefits of lacrosse. Our Little Shooters Program is for K-1st grade and introduces the game to children in a clinic-style setting, one day per week, teaching the fundamentals of the game. Starting in 2nd grade, players are placed on a team which participates in the Newtown Park Lacrosse League, practicing twice per week and playing games on the weekends. Both spring and fall seasons include clinic style learning sessions. This enables consistent learning of the essential lacrosse skills necessary to continue to develop a passion and enjoyment of the game. In the Spring, boys in 6th through 8th grades that would normally play in the Rec league also have the opportunity to play more competitive lacrosse through the Select program. The Select teams play through the GMSAA, Georgia Middle School Athletic Association, against other high school affiliated feeder teams throughout North Atlanta. Our Select program is the only "OFFICIAL" West Forsyth High School Boy's feeder program. Our program is completely supported by Coach John Laden, coach of the 2023 GHSA 7A State Champions and 2023 National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association Coach of the Year, and his coaching staff. Our teams learn curriculum developed by Coach Laden.

Our home field is at Sawnee Mountain Park where we are fortunate to have one of the best lacrosse setups in the state. Join our program and see what being a part of the West Family is all about!!!!
